The Uru-Eu-Wau-Wau people join the legal action
Bogotá / Paris / São Paulo – 12 January 2023 – As a hearing takes place today in the Casino case concerning deforestation and land grabbing by indigenous peoples, the Jupaú association, representing the Uru-Eu-Wau-Wau indigenous people, has officially announced its intention to join the international coalition of organizations taking legal action against the supermarket chain.
