As investiga\u00e7\u00f5es realizadas ao longo de quase dez anos salientaram constantemente o papel e a responsabilidade dos matadouros e distribuidores. N\u00e3o s\u00f3 obt\u00eam regularmente carne bovina de \u00e1reas recentemente desmatadas, como fecham os olhos \u00e0s pr\u00e1ticas de \u00ablavagem de gado\u00bb destinadas a contornar a legisla\u00e7\u00e3o brasileira. Estas pr\u00e1ticas permitem que criadores respons\u00e1veis por crimes ambientais ou sociais vendam a sua carne de bovino com total impunidade. <\/span><\/p><p><span style=\"font-weight: 400;\">A pecu\u00e1ria bovina na Col\u00f4mbia apresenta problemas similares. Com efeito, \u00e9 tamb\u00e9m o principal vetor da desfloresta\u00e7\u00e3o e a import\u00e2ncia da pecu\u00e1ria est\u00e1 a aumentar.
